2025 Mastering Management

The Mastering Management Program is designed to equip forward-thinking managers with the skills, knowledge and mindset to lead with confidence and the capability to effectively manage the uncertainty, complexity and competing agendas of the local government sector.This program explores various leadership styles and theories, as well as issues and challenges related to concepts associated with leadership. It also examines how individuals and groups interact in different contexts to address professional and community issues, and how particular leadership qualities can spur progressive and transformational change at both the team and council level. Current sector issues are explored alongside practical experience to enhance learning. It runs over a five month period offering a sponsor ongoing connection to future leaders in the sector. The program will be delivered both in person and online.
