2025 Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)
The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is LGPro’s other senior leadership
flagship program designed for emerging leaders in Local Government and
those who aspire to positions of leadership, ELP is an intense, enriching
year of seminars, visits, tours, discussions, interactive activities
and debate that foster participants’ leadership potential.Participants
gain access to practical insight from leaders across the sector,
develop their leadership capabilities and professional attributes, forge
new relationships across the sector,build stronger links between areas
of expertise and increase their appreciation of the wider and emerging
issues in local government.The program is run over a 12 month period
via a mix of online sessions, face to face workshops and sessions at
different council locations providing a sponsor broad exposure across
the sector. ELP culminates with a group presentation to CEOs and directors. The program is restricted to 24 places and involves an
application and interview process.Sponsorship of this program offers the
opportunity to get to know our future leaders and for them to get to
know your business.

Delegate profile
Managers, coordinator and team leader level from a variety of professions, locations and age groups. Each participant is matched with a senior council or industry mentor for the duration of the program.
