About the Awards

The Positive Ageing & Wellbeing Awards program recognises the high quality achievements made in the sector. They aim to recognise the contribution of individuals and teams working in areas that encourage positive ageing and wellbeing in Local Government and their council, advance innovation and leadership in the provision of positive ageing and Wellbeing and promote high standards in the design and delivery of Local Government programs and projects that promote positive ageing and wellbeing.

These awards are offered in two categories:

Outstanding Program or Project – Non-Grant Based (council funded)
Outstanding Program or Project – Grant Based (externally funded)

The Post Seminar Awards Reception

The Award winners will be announced at the Awards Cocktail Reception to be held post Seminar. It is a great opportunity for industry peers to celebrate achievements and to recognise the work of the sector's innovating individuals and teams. It is also a unique opportunity to network with colleagues from across local governments with canapes and drinks in tow.
